【王玉樹／台北報導】今年第11號颱風尤特下午14時增強為中度颱風，目前位置在鵝鑾鼻東南方1200公里處，路徑不變、朝西北西方向進行，將經由菲律賓呂宋島北方進入南海，預計在中國大陸廣東地區登陸；速度方面，從每小時17公里稍微增快到19公里，7級風半徑擴大到150公里，近中心最大風速每秒33公尺。  

中央氣象局表示，尤特侵台機會依舊不大，但周一、二是最接近台灣的時候，屆時其外圍環流將為台灣南部、東部帶來短暫陣雨。

【石永軒／新北報導】今天上午7時許，民眾發現淡水一處工寮內有男子躺在裡不動，查看後發現竟沒有呼吸，趕緊報警後救護人員到場後檢查該男已明顯死亡不送醫，警方也拉起封鎖線調查死因。

台北市8日氣溫飆到攝氏39.3度，引發不少勞工對「高溫假」的期待。行政院長江宜樺9日向媒體表示，會由專業單位評估後再做決定。不過勞委會主委潘世偉說，高溫環境工作預防熱危害是雇主應負的責任，不宜由法律隨意訂熱浪假或高溫假。

江宜樺9日上午出席行政院「親子日」活動，會後面對媒體詢問是否放高溫假或熱浪假時表示，這部分會由專業單位來做評估，例如氣象局、衛生福利部等，大家可以充分討論。

行院人事行政總處人事長黃富源說，江院長已做政策指示，人事總處近日將邀氣象、勞動條件、法律、醫療等方面的專家學者與相關部會討論，也會蒐集各國案例參考。黃富源認為，放假標準的制訂，會連帶影響民間企業，所以也會邀勞委會共同討論。

至於高溫假的定義，黃富源強調，「因涉及工作條件與健康，影響民眾權益，必須謹慎定義。」他指出，在室內或戶外工作，工作條件會隨著天氣而有不同，且高溫也不僅限於氣候上的溫度，有些工作雖然在室內，但與溫度有高敏感度，希望也能一併考慮，制訂可行方案。

依據天然災害停止辦公及上課作業辦法，將颱風、地震及水災等天然災害發生列入停止上班上課標準，但並沒有高溫假的相關規定。

勞委會主委潘世偉卻另有看法，他說，高溫環境工作預防熱危害是雇主應負的責任，不該由法律隨意訂熱浪假、高溫假，因此「暫不考慮」討論此案。
