日本網站重現311海嘯浪高

【綜合報導】《朝日新聞》報導，日本東北大學災害科學國際研究所開設了一個網站，名為「人眼能看到的311海嘯」，重現311震災中襲擊各地的海嘯浪高。

該網站使用「Google街景」功能，操作者能夠360度看到災後街道的樣子與建築物。研究小組希望藉著這個網站，幫助提高人們的防災意識。

離天網更近？模擬1秒人腦活動要多久，超級電腦說要40分鐘

Cfabd2289032bce5f39ccf9a78a0febb 一個由日本和德國的研究人員組成的團隊使用處理速度世界第四的超級電腦，K computer，成功模擬了史上最長的人腦神經活動，持續 1 秒。超級電腦為了模擬這 1 秒的活動動用了 82944 個處理器和 1 個拍位元組的記憶體，並且花了 40 分鐘。

還記得電影《魔鬼終結者》裡的 skynet 嗎？大支佬史瓦辛格雖然是個機器人，但他身體的構造卻和人體幾乎一模一樣，而且「機器大腦」的處理速度也驚人地和人腦的思考反映速度不相上下。近日，一個由日本和德國的研究人員組成的團隊使用處理速度世界第四的超級電腦，K computer（每秒能達到千萬次的浮點運算），成功模擬了史上最長的人腦神經活動，持續 1 秒。

別小看這 1 秒，從生物學角度上來看，這 1 秒的神經活動由將近人腦 1% 的神經網路來完成，涉及了差不多 17 億的神經細胞和 10 萬億的神經突觸，而我們的大腦只需要 1 秒便可完成整個過程。而對於機器來說呢？研究人員這次使用的超級電腦為了模擬這 1 秒的活動動用了 82944 個處理器和 1 個拍位元組的記憶體（1 拍位元組＝Petabyte、PB=1024TB），並且運行了 40 分鐘才完成。

雖然看似處理速度差距很大，但研究人員卻興奮異常，項目 leader Markus Diesmann 表示，「今天一個拍位元組級別的超級電腦已經能夠模擬人腦 1% 的神經活動，那至少我們離模擬整個人腦活動的一天已經不再遙遠，」 甚至計算速度如果和神經活動多少成正比的話，模擬 1 秒鐘整個大腦的神經活動大概需要兩天半的時間。

其實類似的機器模擬研究已經開始很久，為了更全面地瞭解人類大腦，全世界各地的研究者早就開始涉足這個領域，例如歐洲針對疾病研究的 *Human Brain Project* 和美國的 *BRAIN initiative*，甚至 IBM 的一些項目試圖開發出類似的模擬晶片。Human Brain Project今年年初成功融資了 16 億美元，計畫在未來 10 年裡招攬各個領域的科學家試圖在模擬神經元連接上取得突破。

IBM早在2011就與研究機構DARPA合作開始開發具備感知、互動和識別等能力的晶片，意在模擬人類大腦的運作機制改變電腦的計算處理能力。具備如此計算能力的機器甚至可以通過感測器網紀錄報告世界範圍類各種自然狀況，比如溫度、壓力、潮汐、地震和海嘯等等。

其實在人工智慧上所有的嘗試與設想，都是為了讓電腦能夠接近人體的運作機制，而運用電腦在各個方面的模擬試驗，在生物領域的能夠取得的突破將改善傳統的健康領域，不過這些似乎與類似 skynet 的概念還相差甚遠。(gigaom.com)

25萬人上街頭 資深媒體人分析意義

「台灣的群眾運動進入重要的轉捩點，」財金文化董事長謝金河在部落格上如此說。針對8月3日在凱達格蘭舉行的公民運動，不少名家分別表示讚揚，資深媒體人王尚智認為，這股公民力量將可能對於台灣的今後產生或推動後續的「政治異變」；資深記者黃哲斌則說，人民願意為自己憤怒的事上街頭，是這個國家最有希望的事。

王尚智和黃哲斌分別在部落格上發表對本起事件的看法，認為網路扮演重要角色、無黨派傾向與大量年輕人參與，為本次公民運動的特色。謝金河表示，網路的力量不容小覷，未來的群眾運動可能更加倚賴網路來發動串連。洪仲丘之死，讓這群20歲上下，以網路串連的年輕人走上街頭，他們很可能是未來群眾的中流砥柱。

「過去的大型群眾運動是由政黨發起，這次卻是沒有政黨色彩的社會人士逐漸抬頭，政黨的重要性在下降。」謝金河指出，在最近幾個抗爭、如文林苑、反核四、大埔事件中，許多知名人物如柯一正、九把刀、戴立忍等挺身而出，他們的呼聲正逐漸超越政治人物。

「民眾對傳統專業政客已經厭倦。」謝金河說，未來的政治領袖可能從非傳統政客出身，也就是在民間與專業領域得到?評價的非典型政治人物中產生。

王尚智則認為，本次的公民運動，是年輕一輩「行動族群」在街頭現身，他們表達自身的社會訴求，沒有任何政黨的訴求與動員，民眾第一次正式徹底擺脫「政黨標籤」的疑慮。

「這次上街頭的白衫軍，以20至30歲年齡一輩為主要對象。」王尚智強調，其中有有許多人更是遠從中南部自行前來，此次抗爭群眾甚至完全沒有省籍、北中南地域的族群差別。

王尚智說，年輕一輩文化領袖，如九把刀、五月天等人的社會訴求與參與，勢必將成為常態的號召。張大春、小野和其他資深文化前輩的強力論述，將成為街頭行動思想體系的支援。

王尚智進一步表示，台灣年輕一輩對藍綠同樣的不耐與不屑，今後「中間選民」的比例將快速膨脹，都將隨著年輕的「白衫軍」繼續成為台灣今後社會階層主流，進而影響政治人物的所有訴求。

黃哲斌認為，人民願意為自己憤怒的事情上街，是這個國家最有希望的事，並為自發公民力量已經打下基底。

「這個國家最危險的事就是政府完全與民意脫節，完全陷溺在自己的鬼打牆邏輯裡。」黃哲斌說認為：這個決策系統荒謬混亂的政府，值得人民膽戰心驚，因為你不知道它會因為瘋狂無助且愚蠢，而幹出什麼事來。

如問題標題.但不是每台電腦都不能讀取.好像較新的電腦較能讀取.請教朋友告訴我說.手機的版本.是Android.電腦要下載Android的驅動程式還是作業系統看看.我電腦操作不是很行.試圖找Android.下載.但不得要領.請教高手能以簡單易懂方式告訴我.感恩
