【蔡永彬／台北報導】今天是高中、職登記分發放榜日。今年有4萬1117人參加登分、3萬9755人錄取，錄取率96.69％，有1362人落榜；教育部統計，今年最高分的落榜生是389分，在中投區，他只填了2個志願。目前全國缺額有6萬6276人，即使扣掉進修學校，缺額也有4萬5314人，創下歷年新高。
 
教育部表示，今年沒招滿的公立學校主要是都會裡的社區高中和偏鄉學校，他認為可能是高職免學費的誘因加上「學習一技之長」的就業需求。今年公立高職缺額反而比去年少，不受少子化影響，例如屏東縣中正國中有人考了403分，分數可以上明星高中，但他只填1個志願，錄取台南高工建築科。
 
高中、職登記分發放榜，考生可上統一登記分發中心（http://www.102union.tw）、中華電信（http://www.emome.net）或打0203-03536、0911-536-536（付費電話）查榜。如果考生對分發結果有疑義，可以在明、後兩天申請複查，詳洽主辦學校台南高工06-3023400。

如果說到重金屬中極具剽悍及超強速度的鞭擊金屬（Thrash Metal）樂團，那指的一定就是美國的金屬製品（Metallica）。金屬製品一直被為是鞭擊金屬四巨頭（Metallica金屬製品、Megadeth麥加帝斯、Slayer超級殺手及Anthrax炭疽熱）裡最具影響力的一個樂團，而說該樂團是重金屬界的佼佼者可一點也不為過。

1981年10月成立於美國加州洛杉磯的金屬製品，以其鞭擊金屬獨有的特色－極快節奏加上快速的反復節拍（riff），電吉他粗麻的音色刷出剽悍的和絃，有夠震撼及壓迫感的速踩雙大鼓，粗暴的狂吼式唱法再加上電吉他急速幾乎快變成了無旋律的彈法－一次次征服了樂迷的心，也使得他們歷年來的專輯總銷量已經突破一億大關，在商業和藝術上皆能締造出令人咋舌佳績！

樂團現任團員為主唱及節奏吉他手James Hetfield、主奏吉他及合聲 Kirk Hammett、貝斯手 Robert Trujillo及鼓手Lars Ulrich。樂團的創立歷程也有段小故事，鼓手Lars Ulrich在80年代曾是位參加溫布頓青年賽的丹麥青年網球選手，因長期赴美訓練，平日沒事時就會接觸音樂，開始對打鼓及重金屬產生濃厚興趣，最後連網球也不想打了。當時剛好又碰上同道中人James Hetfield，二人於是一拍即合，決定全心投入於重金屬的世界。

金屬製品早期創作靈感受到齊柏林飛船（Led Zeppelin）、黑色安息日（Black Sabbath）及火車頭樂團（Motorhead）等重金屬，以及其他像是英國龐克風格的宣洩樂團等等樂團的影響很大。該樂團在1983年時發行了第一張專輯「Kill 'Em All」，也就是這張專輯讓他們被尊稱為鞭擊金屬的始祖樂團。不過，也有人指出，其實第一支認真開始研究鞭擊金屬的樂團並不是金屬製品，而是同樣來自舊金山灣區的出埃及樂團（Exodus），只不過陰錯陽差的當出埃及樂團要出第一張專輯時，因為內部的人事問題而被延期發行了，就這樣讓金屬製品給拔得頭籌。

經過10幾年的歷練，樂團在1996年推出「Load」及「Reload」專輯時也開始改變造型風格及樂團形象，樂團成員都剪去了原先的長髮，一直到現在，除了Kirk Hammett 後來又留長髮之外，其他成員也就一直保持短髮的造型。

不僅如此，1998年時樂團也第一次推出了一張雙CD的翻唱專輯，第一張是翻唱一些經典樂團的作品，像是鑽石頭樂團（Diamond Head）及黑色安息日等等；而第二張則是他們更早時期時翻唱的一些歌曲，像是The $5及98 E等等。有趣的是，隔年的3月7日，樂團步入了聖地亞哥的星光大道（San Francisco Walk of Fame），而聖地亞哥市長還宣佈當天是「金屬製品之日」。4月時該樂團還和聖地亞哥交響樂團一同演出二天，這在重金屬界可是創舉吧！

樂團也非常極力地保持其形象。在1983年時，當時的吉他手Dave Mustaine就因為吸毒以及酗酒被而樂團一腳踢出改找其他樂手。不過被掃出門戶的Dave Mustaine倒也不服氣，之後便組成了鞭擊金屬四巨頭之一的麥加帝斯樂團。

在專輯全球銷售突破億張大關的加持下，樂團戰蹟顯赫，像是拿下了六屆「最佳金屬演出」等九座葛萊美獎加冕、入主英國極具公信力的Kerrang!雜誌「名人殿堂」，MTV台選為「重金屬史上經典樂團」第三名及「20組經典重金屬名單」冠軍等等。直到今天，1986年發行的「Master of Puppets」專輯仍被普遍認為是樂團歷來的最佳專輯，也是鞭擊金屬史上的難得經典。而其在英美兩大排行榜首的同名專輯「Metallica」，不僅是搖滾客的膜拜聖經，連滾石、Q、Metal Hammer及Kerrang!等雜誌也都給予滿分的高度推崇，由此可見為何有人會稱他們為金屬王朝的唯一救主！
