| 女子臥室上吊 家屬解套送醫仍不治

【呂健豪／新北報導】新北市新店區一處民宅公寓發生上吊案件，1名王姓女子今天下午1時許被家屬發現在臥室內上吊，家屬立即將王女從繩上解下，並報案請救護車送醫急救，但仍回天乏術。
警方表示，目前王女家屬尚未製作筆錄，自殺原因仍待釐清。

| 美濃黃蝶祭登場 市府推動美濃國家自然公園

【劉智維／高雄報導】第18屆美濃黃蝶祭上午在美濃雙溪公園展開，高雄市長陳菊今表示，市府都市發展局上月已針對成立美濃國家自然公園完成規劃，並送交中央營建署審查，希望能早日通過。
美濃愛鄉協進會總幹事邱靜慧也表示，美濃黃蝶祭起於反水庫活動，後來轉變為保護當地自然環境與生態，為讓當地生態能永續保存，希望透過成立國家自然公園方式，讓當地環境與生態獲得更好的保護。當地民眾對於市府推動成立國家自然公園，多樂觀其成。

下午3點30分左右，新北地方法院提訊朱亞東。根據了解，朱亞東在庭上不斷強調，對於行李內裝爆裂物是完全不知情，對社會造成恐慌感到非常抱歉。

【陳雍仁／綜合報導】中華女籃在喀山世大運銅牌戰對上澳洲，儘管力拼40分鐘，但面對人高馬大的澳洲還是難以克服身材劣勢，全場團隊籃板以24比49大幅落後，加上外線火力發揮不佳，終場以58比99慘敗，無緣奪銅，僅以第4名坐收。
中華以黃英利表現最佳，全場攻得飆進2記3分球，攻得14分、3籃板、1助攻，另得分主力黃品蓁表現失常，全場13投5中，僅10分、3籃板、2抄截進帳，無力助中華扭轉頹勢。
