東京申奧成功　棒球重返奧運棒協樂觀

【楊逸民／台中報導】日本東京確定取得2020年奧運主辦權，中華棒協秘書長林宗成表示，以日本主辦棒球項目能力以及積極的態度，有機會影響到明天奧會成員投票的態度，因此對棒球重返2020年奧運表示樂觀。

明天IOC(International Olympic Committee，國際奧會)將針對2020年奧運最後1個正式運動項目進行投票，最終入選運動的為棒壘球、角力與壁球，林宗成說，國際棒總會長法卡利(Riccardo Fraccari)日前曾表示，目前以棒壘球、角力的機會最大，但仍有20%左右的游離票還沒決定，但東京申奧成功，或許會移除這些游離票成員，對於主辦國舉行棒球項目能力的疑慮。

林宗成說：「女壘、男棒原本就是日本最有實力奪牌的項目，因此他們一直以來都是最積極爭取棒壘球重返奧運的國家，日本國內這麼多棒球場，國民對於棒球的支持，所以奧會成員不會懷疑他們辦棒壘球的能力。」
