模特合約的存證信函要如何寫

我在6年前有簽了一份模特兒合約，合約到期是5年，但是後來因為出國、工作，沒有再接模特工作，合約就這樣放著了，最近想說有機會的話去賺外快也好，只是這才發現合約上另附註了一條：

合約到期日前須寄存證信函予以通知，否則以自動續約2年論，以下亦同。

所以我現在寄存證信函去可以不算續約嗎？還是一定要跑完這兩年呢？
可以幫忙書寫一份存證信函的範例嗎？
