助菲救災 NBA與球員工會再捐25萬美元

菲律賓遭到海燕颱風重創，美國職業籃球聯盟(NBA)與NBA球員工會(NBA Players Association)11日再度慷慨解囊，捐款25萬美元給基督教人道組織世界展望會(World Vision)，對菲律賓提供救援。

菲律賓發生嚴重風災後，NBA與球員工會已於10日共同捐助25萬美元給聯合國兒童基金會(UNICEF)。

世界展望會表示，11日派出1架飛機前往菲律賓馬尼拉，運送5,000條毛毯和3,000份帆布，以協助災民搭建臨時棲身處所。

根據世界展望會，在菲律賓，有將近40萬人受到海燕颱風的影響。

2009年以來，NBA一直與世界展望會合作，從事慈善努力。
