蕭薔吃素　曾白目惹火導演

【趙大智／台北報導】蕭薔1992年開始吃素，她說因為看了《法華經》，還有動物被屠宰的影片，決定不碰葷食。但當年在中國拍戲，堅持吃素會帶給劇組不方便，在蕭媽媽勸說下，她改吃方便素。
 
某年接拍李岳峰導演的戲，他無肉不歡，每天在劇組殺一隻羊，晚上煮大鍋菜大家圍爐。蕭薔一開始在旁邊只燙茼蒿吃，李導演問她怎不吃肉，她竟答：「肉是你累世父母。」李導氣得當場拍桌，回嗆她：「那妳為什麼喝動物屍體的湯？」她只能乾笑，不知該回答什麼，覺得當年自己只能用「白目」形容。
