國中教育會考英語科在17日12時10分結束，全國到考率為98.63%，台北考區缺考人數共664人，到考率為97.63%，一般違規計有15件。

分析教師表示，英語科會考試題多樣活潑、難易適中。聽力試題基礎簡易，學生只要於上課時跟著老師的進度認真聆聽學習，就可以有信心全部答對。單題部分需熟悉1200個單字及基礎文法，題組題則有多元的閱讀主題，文章體例多元，像是調查研究報告、喬遷之喜邀請函、書評、十大城市排名等；篇章文字量較長，學生須有理解、分析訊息、統整歸納的能力。

英語科共分聽力與閱讀試題，聽力為辨識單句意義，問答與理解言談內容。閱讀試題部分有單字、文法、片語，片語部分考了or連接詞，If引導名詞子句、未來式、量詞形容詞、時態、現在式等。題組的閱讀測驗則有書信、報導等，文字量較長。
