【方翊倩／綜合報導】明天國慶日，總統府前廣場舉行國慶大會，多場抗議活動也蓄勢待發。

《蘋果》報導，公民一九八五行動聯盟將發動十萬白衫軍上街，明上午十時十分在立院前升旗，訴求「公民護憲、還權於民」，中午後移師自由廣場「閱讀抗議」；本土社團「台灣國家聯盟」也要到立院前集結，要求廢特偵組、反服貿協議；環保聯盟等團體明早也要在立院前升反核公民旗，要求立即停建核四。

【陳培煌／台北報導】總統馬英九今早出席「中央聯合辦公大樓國父銅像揭幕典禮」致詞時表示，國父是他從小就非常敬仰的政治人物，過去幾十年不論在學校或機關，只要有國父銅像地方，「我一定會上前行禮」。

談到台灣經濟發展，馬總統說，過去五年世界經濟不景氣，平均成長只有1.9%，但中華民國台灣還能維持3%成長，在亞洲四小龍中排第二名。台灣今年上半年成長率不高，只有 2.06%，但還是位居亞洲四小龍第二。

銅像捐贈者、國父孫中山的孫女孫穗芳現身會場，她感性的說，這是她三年多來在全世界捐贈的第119尊國父銅像，「是上帝與祖父在幫助她完成這項使命。」馬總統在典禮結束後被媒體追問檢察總長黃世銘是否下台與特偵組存廢問題時，總統微笑不語、快速離開現場。

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】美國舊金山一名30歲男子泰伐凱森(Nikhom Thephakaysone)於上月23日，在一列擠滿人的列車上隨機開槍殺人，打中一名20歲大學生瓦德茲(Justin Valdez)的後腦，被控謀殺。但警方今日指出，當時泰伐凱森不斷亮槍，但許多乘客都在當低頭族，根本沒發現恐怖異狀。

警方表示，泰伐凱森在開槍前曾經多次亮出手槍，甚至舉起、指向乘客並拿著手槍擦鼻子，但現場許多乘客只顧玩智慧型手機和平板電腦，沒有人查覺到異狀，讓瓦德茲成為槍下亡魂。泰伐凱森在事發隔天遭到警方逮捕。
