面對美聯防禦率王桑契茲(Anibal Sanchez)，運動家卻徹底釋放長打火力，瑞迪克(Josh Reddick)、摩斯(Brandon Moss)、史密斯(Seth Smith)各敲出1發全壘打，其中摩斯與史密斯2人，相繼在5局開砲，讓桑契茲僅投4.1局就失掉6分黯然退場，也讓運動家取得關鍵一勝。

（軍聞社記者莊家宏臺北九日電）中華軍史學會今天舉辦「政府遷臺後國防及建軍發展之研究」學術研討會，會中邀集多位國內研究軍事史、近代史的專家學者，透過研討會彼此交換研究心得與見解，為我國軍史研究累積豐沛能量。

　苗永慶致詞時表示，中華軍事史學會成立已十八年，致力於保存國軍史料，擴展軍事史研究領域，加強學者間的學術交流合作，藉由軍事發展的回顧與探討成果，提供國軍未來建軍備戰參考。

　此次學術研討會共計舉辦四場次，分別由前中華軍事史學會理事長趙知遠與兩位副理事長傅應川、劉維開，以及理事章長蓉等四位擔任主持人，先後提出「政府遷臺後國軍政戰制度發展之研究」等十篇論文，各場次經報告人進行論述與詮釋研究心得，探討昔日國軍軍校教育、空軍裝備、軍需動員等面向，充分彰顯出軍史學術研究的深度與廣度。

【詹智淵／彰化報導】今年是西螺大橋通車60週年，橋北端的溪州鄉公所與南端的西螺鎮公所，合作舉行一連串活動，溪州鄉長黃盛祿今穿古裝扮成新郎倌，迎娶由南州國小校長林銘科男扮女裝的自由女神，象徵中西合璧，揭開大橋文化季序幕。

林銘科表示，學生為了19日的千人藝術踩街活動費盡心思，今天記者會就穿上由兩位小4學生設計的自由女神裝上陣，他十分害羞，但為配合學生，只好犧牲色相。

黃盛祿表示，今天的《溪州囍事》就是要以欣喜的心情迎接通車60周年，11日晚間邀請寶島歌王文夏、董事長樂團、九天民俗技藝團到溪州森林公園演出《農村搖滾》開幕晚會，12日起還有焢窯等一系列活動。
