【綜合報導】苗栗縣府強拆大埔民宅未落幕，日前2萬人走上凱道抗議，越演越烈。傳出掌管大埔土地的苗栗竹南地政所1名賴姓前主任，到任後離奇死亡，前年5月陳屍在竹南龍鳳漁港碼頭，其家人質疑死因疑點重重，檢警卻以自殺結案，斥縣長劉政鴻「心裡有鬼」。

今天出刊《壹週刊》報導，賴男生前曾任苗栗縣政府地政處副處長，傳出因阻擋劉政鴻哥哥要求違法變更地目，遭劉兄痛罵，事後也被劉政鴻約談。該刊訪問賴家人，賴男遺孀說，「我生先死後，劉縣長和縣府相關官員的態度詭異，這些人一定是心虛，心裡有鬼！」

賴男家屬說，警檢調查賴男留有遺書，研判「自殺」，但該遺書不僅有塗改痕跡且錯字連篇，還驗不出賴男指紋，家屬無法接受。苗栗地政處陳處長指出，他與賴主任共事過，不多評論該命案，但他說，有關於土地重劃及徵收相關業務，都由縣府地政處統一辦理。
