在亞洲貨幣兌美元走弱，加上中央銀行尾盤阻升之下，新台幣兌美元匯價13日收盤貶破30元，以30.002元作收、貶值2.2分，台北外匯經紀公司成交量5.13億美元。
在美國經濟數據表現轉佳，市場對於美國聯準會即將縮減購債規模的預期升高，亞洲貨幣兌美元走弱，其中韓元一度回貶至1118韓元兌1美元，日圓也逼近98日圓兌1美元。
至於新台幣，匯銀人士指出，13日早盤新台幣兌美元匯價以30.03元、貶值5分開出後，在台股走揚激勵下，新台幣兌美元止貶回升，不過，由於韓元等亞洲貨幣走軟，新台幣兌美元升勢有限，最高價僅來到29.94元、升值4分。
雖然台股終場上漲82點，但由於亞幣仍偏弱，新台幣下午在29.95元盤整，尾盤則在央行進場阻升下，新台幣兌美元再度貶破30元，以30.002元作收、貶值2.2分。
