好萊塢資女星艾琳諾帕克12月9日因肺炎併發症過世，享年91歲，病逝時家人隨侍在側。

艾琳諾曾三度獲得奧斯卡最佳女主角提名，包括1950年的「Caged」，隔年和寇克道格拉斯合作的「偵探故事」，以及1955年的「中斷曲」，只可惜都與獎座擦身而過。

艾琳諾另一部廣為人知的電影是1965年的「真善美」。片中她飾演一位男爵夫人，和女主角茱莉安德魯斯爭奪克里斯多福普拉默，最後敗給茱莉。
