【王煌忠／台中報導】台中市西屯區近年來發展迅速，豪宅、百貨公司林立，加上知名觀光景點秋紅谷、逢甲商圈等，隨著農曆春節即將到來，轄區第六分局特地邀集民代、警義消、各級機關學校及業者代表，由分局長林漢堂召開春安工作協調會，藉由整合社會各界資源、警民通力合作模式，保護民眾過年期間的居家外出安全。
 
林漢堂表示，今年春安工作著重在「治安平穩、交通順暢、服務熱心」三大主軸，結合民防力量展現警察維護治安的決心，另外過年期間現金流量大，民眾若要提領大額現金，均可向警方申請護鈔服務，警方亦會針對超商、銀樓、當鋪、大賣場等處加強巡邏，讓民眾可以過一個順遂、如意的春節假期。
