交通部：國人使用交通工具愈來愈環保

國內民眾使用交通工具有愈來環保的現象。主計總處引述交通部調查指出，2012年台灣地區十五歲以上民眾平常主要使用的運具，無論男女性都以機車所占比率最高，皆達47.8%，但分別較2011年減少0.5與0.8個百分點。

其次，男女性使用自用小客車的比率則為次高，分別為27.6%與18.9%，各年減1.3與0.6個百分點。整體而言，男性使用私人機動運具的比率為77.9%，女性則為67.3%，分別年減1.8與1.4個百分點。

至於使用包含公共運輸及非機動運具，合稱為「綠運輸」部分，男性達22.1%，女性則達32.7%，女性明顯比男性高出許多，達10個百分點。

進一步觀察，男性使用自行車或步行的比率達10.9%，女性達13.9%，分別年增1.1與0.5個百分點。男性使用包含公車、捷運、交通車或台鐵等交通運輸的比率則為11.2%，女性則為18.8%，分別年增0.6與0.8個百分點。
