瑞典Ikea的美國分公司宣布美國Ikea零售勞工的最低工資平均提高14%，這是美國Ikea十年來最大的最低工資升幅。這波加薪明年1月1日生效，屆時美國Ikea零售工人的平均最低時薪將會升為10.76美元 (台幣322元)，比目前的9.17美元提高1.59美元。美國Ikea的1萬1000位時薪工人將有半數能夠獲得加薪 (因為Ikea有些物流中心和服務中心的工人目前時薪已超過當地生活成本)。不過，加多少，視各個賣場所在地的生活成本高低而定。
