一群飢餓的獅子碰上了一對兒長頸鹿母子結果會怎樣？肯亞境內馬賽馬拉保護區的一頭勇敢的母長頸鹿靠著自己的長腿，連踢帶打地帶孩子突出了重圍。此前也有人拍下兩頭獅子獵殺一頭長頸鹿成功的圖片。

根據人民網報導，從澳洲遊客Bill and Barbara Westbrook拍攝的畫面看，在與獅子周旋時，母長頸鹿讓幼崽呆在自己的雙腿之間或側面。無論對手從前面，側面還是後面進攻，都被母長頸鹿用腿踢開。無可奈何的獅子們最終選擇走開。
