缺少短期記憶　英男洗澡吃飯都會忘

【綜合報導】現年19歲的英國青年里基狄恩(Ricky Dean)，出生時大腦缺氧，導致他缺乏短暫記憶能力，必須時時寫紙條定鬧鐘，提醒自己等下要做什麼，就連吃飯洗澡也得靠鬧鐘提醒。
 
不只沒有短期記憶，里基對時間也沒有概念，即便他記得該做什麼事，他也無法記得是什麼時候做了這件事，大部分的時候靠著便利貼或手機行事曆鬧鐘，里基都能維持正常生活，但讓他受挫的事，即便發生美好的事情，他可能下一秒就忘記了。
 
一開始醫生診斷里基為自閉症兒童，11歲時里基接受腦部掃描，才發現他有喪失記憶的問題，醫生表示里基的症狀，目前尚無確切的病名，所以也無從治療，不過靠親友和科技產品的協助，里基還是能享有正常生活。
