巴菲特招認 買錯債券賠8.73億美元

「股神」巴菲特以選股眼光獨到聞名，但他也拿了旗下波克夏公司（BerkshireHathaway）不少的錢投資債市。

這些債券交易未獲太大關注。因為依規定，波克夏每年雖然必須定期四次向證管會（SEC）申報股票投資組合的內容，卻不必公開揭露手中持有的債券部位。

但巴菲特在周六（1日）發表的致股東信中自己招認，因為錯買能源期貨控股公司（EFH）債券而賠大錢。他說：「大部人從沒聽說過這家公司，你們很幸運，多希望我也沒聽過。」

EFH在2007年槓桿收購德州電廠資產時發行了債券，巴菲特表示，他沒和事業夥伴孟格（Charlie Munger）商量，就決定買進約20億美元。

這批債券去年以2.59億美元賣出，扣除收到現金利息8.37億美元，巴菲特因作錯決定付出稅前虧損8.73億美元的代價。

他保證：「下次，我一定先打電話給孟格。」
