可攜式盾牌 英發明iPad防彈保護套

iPad未來的功能將不只是事務型的平板電腦，它甚至可以救你一命。英國公司研發出讓iPad穿上專家研發的防彈夾層，能夠抵禦子彈，變成可隨身攜帶的防彈盾牌，頓時成為政商名流的新寵兒。

根據《每日郵報》報導，英國公司Vestguard利用替中東前線士兵製作軍事裝備的技術，研發出一款厚度3公釐、重量僅142克的iPad防彈面板，這種面板裝置在平板電腦的後方，可以抵抗沙漠之鷹左輪手槍以及口徑9毫米的手槍，另外也可抵禦炸彈碎片與彈殼。

Vestguard表示這款iPad防彈面板已經熱銷1000多片，買的人大多是政商名流以及前往戰地的商人，其中也有一般的倫敦上班族買單。Vestguard商務總監林肯(Oliver Lincoln)表示，他們在紙筆時代販賣防彈筆記板，現在已經是電腦的天下，於是改變策略改賣iPad的防彈產品。
