綽號「鯊魚」的美國長泳健將椎爾7日完成拖拉逾一噸重的磚塊，橫越美加邊境約卅五公里湖面的壯舉。椎爾5日下水，歷經51小時完成這項慈善募款任務。他說，拖著載磚塊的小艇游泳，是希望表達「不會因為重擔而消沉」的意念。（美聯社）
