【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】美國最近如同台灣一樣，正興起一股貓熊寶寶熱，台灣人聚焦「圓仔」，美國人則聚焦於華府動物園誕生的貓熊女寶寶。不過圓仔直播僅1小時，而美國的貓熊寶寶卻能直播24小時動態。

這隻貓熊寶寶預計在下月1日才會有正式名字，牠是貓熊美香的女兒。園方為這對母女設立24小時直播，除了吸引不少美國民眾觀看，也有許多國外網友也在看美香母女的成長。園方表示，他們設立15支監視器，觀測美香母女行動，並動用多名受過訓練的義工，直盯監視器畫面，記錄美香母女動態，進行動物行為觀察。
