美國聯邦調查局（FBI）表示，正在調查華爾街的高速交易，以了解是否出現證券詐欺、電信詐欺或內線交易等行為。

高速交易是指由電腦在好幾秒內進行交易的行為，但也充滿爭議。調查員正在調查進行這種交易的投資人，是否涉及上述違法行為。

但FBI官員不願透露，是否和紐約州檢察總長施耐德曼（Eric Schneiderman）合作調查。施耐德曼已調查高速交易員好幾個月，他認為高速交易可能讓交易員獲得好幾秒的優勢，構成不公平競爭。
