大陸貴州省副書記參拜嘉邑城隍廟尋根

今天全國古蹟日，嘉義市定古蹟嘉邑城隍廟由清朝諸羅知縣周鍾瑄興建，廟內供奉其塑像，周的同鄉大陸貴州省委副書記李軍率23人參訪團抵台上午到城隍參拜尋根，為兩岸宗教交流寫歷史新頁。

在台灣海峽兩岸友好交流協會執行總監蔡慶敦牽線下，貴州省委副書記李軍首次參拜城隍廟，城隍廟自康熙54年（西元1715年）周鍾瑄創建以來，為清代臺南府城以北首座官建城隍廟，是清代諸羅縣設治築城300年來嘉義都市發展重要見證。

周鍾瑄貴州貴筑（今貴陽花溪）人。康熙53年至58年任臺灣府諸羅縣知縣，任內有治績，曾主修諸羅縣志，去職後民眾感念德政雕肖像祭祀，是台灣宗教信仰特色，李軍尋根之旅由城隍廟董事長葉源助陪同參觀，並舉辦為期1周「周鍾瑄兩岸文史交流座談會」及「貴州風光攝影展」。
