避險 秀林鄉9個村撤了8個

有了去年蘇拉颱風的風災經驗，花蓮縣秀林鄉公所今年特別積極面對蘇力颱風的侵襲，全鄉9個村，除了文蘭村，一早就有8個村針對有潛勢危險的部落、社區，進行撤村，其中也包括去年受創的和中、和仁部落。

秀林鄉公所民政課長謝福木表示，包括軍、警等單位，一大早就協助這8個村所提出的需求，進行撤村動作，包括車輛、人力都全數進駐，尤其去年受創嚴重的和中、和仁社區，9點鐘就開始全數強制撤離，前往學校、避難所、台電宿舍等地方暫時居住；而最靠近北面的天祥社區居民，也被強制撤離，11點鐘完成撤離。

花蓮縣長傅崑萁表示，面對來勢洶洶的蘇力颱風，全縣不敢掉以輕心，已經通令潛勢危險區的社區，必須提前撤村，以免發生危險
