根據外電報導指出，諾基亞(Nokia)控告宏達電侵權，ITC初判認為，宏達電侵犯諾基亞兩項專利，但有1項則未侵權；宏達電24日指出，「對ITC行政法官針對此案的初步判決與本公司立場部分一致感到欣慰，我們將會上訴至國際貿易委員會爭取對本公司有利之最終判決」，同時表示，已完成替代方案準備，確保未來業務不受影響。
宏達電24日股價並未受到影響，早盤以139元平盤開出，在買盤進場下推升股價，盤中拉升至142元，漲幅逾1.44%。
根據外電報導，美國國際貿易委員會（ITC）初步裁定，宏達電侵犯諾基亞兩項專利，另一項專利則未涉及侵權，這項裁決僅是初步裁定，還要經ITC全體6名委員審議，預計在明年1月23日做最終判決。
外電報導指出，ITC裁定宏達電侵犯諾基亞的專利包括，有關刪除無線電訊號錯誤，及有關處理不同無線電頻率流程的2項專利，未侵權的則是有關將訊息由電腦傳送至手機的1項專利。
