被斬首英國人：2個孩子的爸、致力人道援助

遭遜尼派激進組織「伊斯蘭國」（Islamic State，IS）斬首的英國44歲男子海恩斯（David Haines）是一名人道援助工作者，去年3月在敘利亞為非政府組織ACTED工作時，遭到綁架。
 
英國《每日電訊報》報導，海恩斯是蘇格蘭人，曾服役皇家空軍12年，後來轉行當人道援助工作者，運用他的安全工作專長，前進全球一些最危險紛亂的地區。2011年中東掀起阿拉伯之春（Arab Spring）時，海恩斯在利比亞為「國際助殘組織」（Handicap International）工作，協助防止戰火波及孩童。
 
之後，他前往內戰頻仍的南蘇丹，去年轉往敘利亞為法國援助組織ACTED工作，但不久後就遭到俘虜。海恩斯與前妻育有一名17歲女兒，並與現任妻子育有一4歲幼女。
 
英國在野工黨黨魁米利班（Ed Miliband）表示，海恩斯的唯一志業是幫助無辜的民眾，對這起野蠻謀殺感到作嘔，並向他的家人表達最深慰問。（林奐成╱綜合外電報導）
