控告聯合國　海地霍亂受害者求償數10億美元

【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】海地霍亂受害者的代表律師，9日通過紐約地方法院起訴聯合國，要求聯合國賠償霍亂受害者，索賠金額達數十億美元。

律師聲稱，海地百餘年來並無霍亂疫情，而2010年10月在當地爆發的霍亂，是由聯合國尼泊爾籍維和士兵帶入。這起霍亂疫情導致至少8300人死亡，約68萬人染病，海地霍亂受害者方面要求聯合國，賠償每位死者家庭10萬美元，每位染病者5萬美元。

聯合國秘書長副發言人哈克當天在被問及此事時，表示聯合國已就霍亂疫情，協助海地政府和民眾進行應對。他表示聯合國未來將繼續提供相關援助。但哈克以此事已進入司法程序為由，拒絕發表進一步評論。先前聯合國方面以《聯合國特權和豁免公約》為依據，表示相關法律申訴，將不予受理。
